Cycloferon is a low molecular weight inducer of interferon with antiviral, immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory activity. It is used in treatment of such infections as HIV, cytomegalovirus, herpes, hepatitis, influenza and viral respiratory infections, chlamydial infections, Lyme disease, urethritis, vaginitis, secondary immunodeficiency, rheumatic and systemic connective tissue diseases, degenerative and dystrophic diseases of joints, skin diseases (neurodermatitis , eczema, dermatitis), etc.
The active ingredient in Cycloferon is Methylglucamine acridonacetate. This medication is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Cycloferon must be taken once a day in half an hour before meals with a glass of water. There were not established any side effects during the usage of Cycloferon.
