Forcan is an antifungal medication, effective in the treatment of such conditions as infections caused by the fungus Cryptococcus, including meningitis, septicemia, infection of the lungs and skin, in patients with normal immune response and in patients with various forms of immunosuppression (including AIDS patients, organ transplant patients), prevention of cryptococcal infection in AIDS patients.
It also showed amazing results in the treatment of generalized candidiasis and the infections caused by it - kandidemiya, disseminated candidiasis including in patients receiving cytostatic or immunosuppressive course of therapy, as well as the presence of other factors predisposing to their development - treatment and prevention. Although side effects of Forcan are known to be rather mild it is recommended to administer this medication in compliance with the instructions.
