Ketonal is non-steroidal drug with analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect. It is used for the treatment of pain of various origins: arthritis, spondylitis, osteoarthritis, sciatica, myalgia, neuralgia, cramps, tuberculosis, and various injuries, postoperative pain syndrome. Ketonal must be taken according to the following regimen: 1 capsule in the morning and afternoon, and 2 capsules in the evening, limiting daily dosage is equal to 300 mg.
This drug, in the form of capsules and tablets is recommended to use during the meal. Treatment with Ketonal in the first six months of pregnancy is recommended only when benefit for the mother is greater than the harm for the fetus. Use of the drug in the last three months of pregnancy is not allowed as it may cause harm to the unborn baby.
